Change of login for metadata administration tool

As recently announced on the aai-users list, we're going to replace the 'mdXXX' user ID ('XXX' stands for a sequence of digits) for the DFN-AAI metadata administration tool with the email address of the respective user. The migration is scheduled for Friday, September 21st. From that date on, please use your email address to login to the metadata administration tool. Passwords remain untouched.

Please login beforehand and check whether your email address (displayed after login) is still valid and the contacts listed in the table with the contract details are still valid.

Please report any changes to hotline@aai.dfn.de.

Some background information:

Over the last years, we had to make the experience that login IDs of the type 'mdXXX' were being passed on to other persons within an organisation without informing the DFN-AAI team. This lead to the situation that in some cases, we weren't able to identify the person(s) actually in charge of the metadata administration for the respective organisation. Without valid contacts, we cannot operate the metadata administration platform in a secure and trustworthy manner. We hope that this measure leads to accounts that remain personalized at any time.

On request, we set up additional login accounts for your organisation.
